湖南岳阳罗城遗址2021年度出土铁器科学分析研究

摘要:

罗城遗址是湖南岳阳一座重要的东周时期城址,考古单位已对其进行了多次发掘。在2021年度考古发掘中,出土了少量铁器,采用金相分析对出土10件铁器进行科学研究。结果显示,铁器材质可分为白口铁、脱碳铸铁、韧性铸铁和铸铁脱碳钢。结合湖南先秦时期出土铁器试验分析及罗城遗址发掘情况,初步揭示了在战国中晚期,该遗址居民已掌握了较成熟的生铁脱碳乃至生铁制钢技术,为研究楚文化的冶金技术提供了重要材料。

Abstract:

Luocheng site is an important Eastern Zhou Dynasty ancient city site in Yueyang city, Hunan province,which has been excavated many times by archeological units. During the archaeological excavation in 2021, a small number of iron objects were unearthed, and 10 pieces of excavated ironware were scientifically studied using metallographic analysis. The results show that the material of ironware can be divided into white iron, decarburized cast iron, ductile cast iron and cast iron decarburized steel. Combined with the experimental analysis of ironware unearthed in Hunan in the pre-Qin period and the excavation of the Luocheng site, it is preliminarily revealed that in the middle and late Warring States period, the residents of the site had mastered the more mature technology of decarburized cast iron and even cast iron steel-making, which provides important materials for the study of the metallurgical technology of the Chu culture.
